Privacy Policy – Anset waitlist

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is Michał Giernatowski (natural person, Poland). For any matter related to the processing of your personal data, contact: help@anset.ai.

2. Data we collect

When you sign up for the Anset waitlist, we process the following data:

  • email address — provided voluntarily via the form,
  • interface language preference (pl or en) — so we can send notifications in your language,
  • IP address hash (SHA-256 with server-side salt) — for abuse rate-limiting; the raw IP is never stored,
  • your browser user-agent header (truncated to 500 chars) — for spam diagnostics.

3. Purposes of processing

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of:

  • handling your waitlist signup,
  • sending a single message notifying you when the product launches,
  • sending information about beta-test access (optional),
  • protecting the form against abuse (rate-limiting, spam diagnostics).

4. Legal basis for processing

The basis for processing your email address to send you the launch notification is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (your explicit consent, given by ticking the dedicated checkbox in the form), in conjunction with Art. 10(2) of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means — you grant consent to receive commercial information via electronic means. The moment consent was given is recorded server-side as proof of consent. For technical safeguards (IP hash, user-agent) the basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — the legitimate interest of the controller in protecting the service from abuse.

5. Data retention

Your data will be retained until the official launch of Anset + 30 days. After that period, all data is permanently deleted and the waitlist infrastructure project is decommissioned. Data is not migrated to any other system or transferred to any successor entity — if you want to use Anset after launch, you will need to sign up again at anset.ai. You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time by writing to the contact address in section 1.

6. Recipients of data

Your data may be transferred to the following entities supporting waitlist operations:

  • Supabase Inc. (USA, database instance hosted in a European Union region) — database storage,
  • Vercel Inc. (USA, infrastructure in a European Union region) — website hosting, serverless functions, and cookieless web analytics (Vercel Analytics).

Your data is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Supabase Inc. and Vercel Inc. are headquartered in the USA. Your data may therefore be technically processed by these companies within US territory, even though the physical database instance is located within the European Union. Transfers are carried out under the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) approved by the European Commission, which provide a level of protection compliant with GDPR.

8. Your rights

In connection with the processing of your data, you have the right to:

  • access your data,
  • rectification of your data,
  • erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten"),
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • withdraw your consent at any time (which does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal), and object to processing based on legitimate interest (section 4),
  • lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl).

9. Voluntary provision of data

Providing your email address is voluntary but necessary to sign up for the waitlist and receive the launch notification. Without an address, the service cannot be delivered.

10. Cookies and analytics

The site uses a single technical cookie: NEXT_LOCALE — it remembers your selected interface language (pl/en). We additionally use Vercel Analytics — a cookieless analytics tool (first-party only, no cross-site tracking). Vercel Analytics collects only aggregate, anonymous visit statistics (page views, traffic source, country, device type) — it does not identify you or track your behaviour outside this site. We do not use marketing, retargeting, or advertising cookies.

11. Changes to this privacy policy

This policy may be updated if the waitlist's operation, the tools used, or applicable law changes. The current version is always available on this page; the last-updated date is shown at the top.
